“Ace, Max!” Lucy shouted as she was running after Ace and Max. “Wait up! I have big news to tell you guys!” Max and Ace stopped when they heard the word big news. “What big news?” said Max? “Your parents are going to Russia on a business trip right?” said Lucy; “Well I heard that means you will be staying with me for the Holiday!” “Are you kidding? That’s amazing!” said Ace. “Alright!” said Max. “Come on let us go to my house!” said Lucy. The three of them raced to Lucy’s house and went inside. Their parents were waiting for them in the living room. Once they went into the living room Lucy’s parents got up and said to Lucy Ace and Max that they are staying with them while their parents are going to Russia for their business trip. “Told you” Lucy whispered to Ace and Max. Lucy, Max, and Ace went to their secret base (Lucy’s bedroom closet).
They pushed the clothes aside and went to their little place. They were discussing a new secret hideout because this closet was too small for them to keep all their stuff. “We need a new base soon,” said Ace. “How about we search for better places for our base while your parents are gone for their business trip?” Said Lucy suggesting what they should do. “That sounds like a great idea, but we need to find it quick before our parents come from their holiday,” said Max. They all went outside and looked around. Soon they were tired of looking and went to Lucy’s backyard and sat down near their thinking tree, Ace thought for a moment… “We could build our base on this tree!” Ace shouted, “It wouldn’t be that secretive, but it would be good for keeping more stuff in it”. “That sounds like a great idea, but how are we going to build it?” said Max. “My dad can help with the building he is an expert,” said Lucy. “Great let’s go to my bedroom and start making some plans!” They all raced to Lucy’s Bedroom and got some paper to make their plans. While they were doing that Max and Ace’s parents came into
the room to say goodbye. Ace and Max’s mom gave them a cookie box, filled with her homemade cookies. “Wow! Thanks mom, you’re the best,” said Max. “I know I am” Said Ace’s mom “Now we will be back in about three weeks, you two be good ok?” “Ok,” said Ace and Max. Max and Ace’s parents left to go to the airport. They went back to Lucy’s room to finish the plans, soon after they finished, they went to Lucy’s dad and told him they wanted to build a tree house on their thinking tree. “Hmm… It will take a while to build it, but I will get straight to it,” said Lucy’s dad “Where are the plans?” “Over here,” said Lucy showing the plans to her dad. “Hmm… That is a lot of work… but it would be better if this goes down there…” Lucy’s dad started discussing how this tree house would look better and told them that it would take a few hours to build.
Lucy, Max, and Ace went to their old base to clear everything and make sure that their things were in boxes so no one would see what they were. “Alright, I think we are done cleaning this place out, I mean there is not much stuff anyways,” Lucy said looking at the boxes. “Ok so… what do we do now?” said Max. “How about we just go to the living room and watch some TV? “OK!” Max and Lucy shouted. They went to the living room and watched some TV while Lucy’s dad worked on their tree house. Lucy’s mom got some lemonade for them. Soon, two hours later they were getting bored of watching videos, at that moment Lucy’s dad came in and told them he was done, and he made a few changes to the tree house. The three went outside to check the tree house and their jaws were on the ground when they saw it. Lucy’s dad came out to see what they thought of their tree house. “This is so AMAZING!” Ace shouted as he stared at the tree house. “There is a water balloon catapult and a rope if you want to swing down from the tree house, there is an emergency slide in the back to slide down if there is an emergency and a small secret place to keep all your secret stuff,” Lucy’s dad said “Go check the place, if you need me, I will be in the living room. The three went up the tree house to see it better, and then Lucy said to get all their stuff here and the cookie box too. They went back to get their stuff and put it in the tree house, and Lucy got the cookie box with a bag that had some stuff
inside of it. “What’s the bag for Lucy?” said max as he pointed at it. “Yea what’s inside of it?” said Ace. “Some energy bars for us,” said Lucy “It would be a good snack just in case we are hungry. Then Lucy’s dad got some old bean bags for them to sit down. “This is the Best Tree House ever!” Said Max “All it needs is this lag to put on top.” They put the bag on top and went down the slide to admire their Amazing tree house.
